NEW: Our tire carriers can now come with optional keyed locking latches. Machined from billet material, powder coated, and have internal locking mechanism  that locks with the provided keys. This provides several advantages:

A: Being able to lock the tire carrier closed gives you additional security to your tailgate and storage area. This is especially true for SUV's or vehicles with hardtops. In addition, it also provides additional security for your Hi Lift jack, as it usually mounts behind the tire.

B: Being able to lock the tire carrier closed makes for a safer latching mechanism for driving. This eliminates any chance for the tire carrier to accidentally become unlatched due to a sharp jolt, on or off-road.

With design options such as tire sizing, hi lift jack mounting, passenger or driver side swing out, A-frame, centerline, or offset carriers; you can get exactly what you want.

Standard features include: dual Fit roller bearings sleeved in a custom turned housing, automatic spring-loaded lock-open mechanism, poly bump-stop, hi capacity locking leverage latch, studs to match your current lug nuts, and a custom machined aluminum cap to seal off the hinge assembly.

PREMIUM SYNTHETIC WINCH LINES:

Synthetic winch ropes offer numerous advantages over standard wire ropes. First and foremost, they are much safer due to the fact the have minimal stretch under load and therefore, store little energy which helps to eliminate recoil if breakage occurs. These ropes over 10% stronger and 1/6 the weight of a traditional cable. Additionally, they are much easier to work with as they will never kink, fray or bind. Because they are significantly lighter than steel cable, they are much easier to handle, pull and re-spool.

These synthetic ropes are constructed of a 12-strand braided synthetic fiber that offers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. Additionally, they offer outstanding flex-fatigue and abrasion resistance.

SYNTHETIC WINCH-LINE ALUMINUM FAIRLEADS:

The Armorology Hawse Fairlead is specifically designed for the use of a synthetic winch line. The use of a steel hawse or roller fairleads can tear up, pinch, or even break a synthetic winch line. Our aluminum fairlead is stronger, much lighter, more reliable and allows far more clearance than a typical roller fairlead. CNC Machined from a solid piece of 6061 billet aluminum, this fairlead offers smooth contoured edges to pro-long the life of your synthetic line.  Fairlead comes with recessed, tapered stainless steel hardware giving this unit an even cleaner look.  CNC Engraved with the ARMOROLOGY logo. 

1.00" thick cnc machined fairlead: 1.00" Thick, 6061 aluminum fairlead. The extra 1/4" inch of material allows for a smoother & larger internal radius thus providing additional protection for your new synthetic winch line.
